 Dedicated to Lynn’s Dog Nike on her 2nd Birthday May 13, MOTHERS DAY! 1998

The evening was so beautiful

There were stars all around

And Lynn looked to nights sky,

A gift soon to be found.

And then a star from up above,

Looked in Lynn’s eves below

A beautiful light connected both hearts,

And Lynn’s eyes held the glow,

Her eyes held fast to sky’s night,

So many stars in the sky:

But this one held her heart,

And shed didn’t know why

Then the star spoke to her gently

With the softness of love

The star whispers “But two hearts do you have!”

One here and one above!”

“And within our life lives one persons love

Forever and in time

And when your heart reaches out ….,”

So in turn does mine…”

Then the heart in Lynn’s heart

Met the heart in Lynn’s star

Then the star kissed Lynn’s life,

A storybook ending from afar!

Yes the opening of Lynn’s heart,

Opened the stars heart from up above;

And the star brought her Nike…

And Nike brought us love!..

For every goddess of victory, this one is for you!~
